(english.cnhubei.com) Honorary Chairman of the Kuomintang Party (KMT) Lien Chan, his wife and his retinue made a visit to Three Gorges Project which is located in Yichang city of central China's Hubei Province.
Lien spoke highly of Three Gorges Project, saying it was the common honor of all the Chinese people.
The Three Gorges Project, with an estimated cost of 180 billion yuan (approximately 25.7 billion U.S. dollars), will also have 26 generators with a combined generating capacity of 84.7 billion kwh annually.
