(english.cnhubei.com) The organizing committee of Expo Central China 2008 which will open in Wuhan, capital city of central China's Hubei Province on April 26, sent invitations to 28 foreign embassies in China.
At present, ambassadors of Germany and Turkey to China have confirmed that they will attend the expo while 14 ambassadors promised to come with time permitted.
A number of friendship cities of Wuhan will also take part in the expo.
At the meantime, 6 foreign mayors confirmed that they will attend Mayor¨s Forum on Urban Sustainable Development who are mayor of Germany's Duisburg, Japan's Oita, the Netherlands' Amhem, Christchurch in New Zealand, Kiev of Ukraine and a city of the Republic of Iceland. |
