¡¡¡¡(english.cnhubei.com) German industrial giant Siemens will enhance its investment in central China¡¯s Hubei Province in the forthcoming three to five years, Liang Yiqiang, vice president¡¡of Siemens (China) Co told reporters.¡¡
¡¡¡¡High official of Siemens, as board of directors, president of China Co, global president for industrial automation system department will visit Hubei in January. Siemens industrial automation system global annual conference will also be held in January 17-18 in Wuhan, the provincial capital. ¡°The visits are the preparation of Siemens¡¯ large investment in Hubei,¡± Liang said.
¡¡¡¡Siemens will invest over 1 billion Yuan (US$123 million) to build Asia¡¯s largest small- and medium-sized turbine engine production base in Wuhan. China-German Friendship Hospital with an investment of 1.2 billion Yuan (US$148 million) will be built in the city. A European Center is also planned to construct in the city¡¯s CBD.
¡¡¡¡¡°As those projects started, researching and purchasing projects will follows,¡± Liang added.
¡¡¡¡Siemens entered Chinese market in 1872. Its total investment in China reached 10.6 billion Yuan with 70 companies built among which Hubei has none.
