Yu Zhengsheng welcomes German SMEs to invest in Hubei

(english.cnhubei.com) Interviews on Yu Zhengsheng, a German Telefilm, was recently broadcasted on Germany television station TV M¨¹nster. During the interview, Yu Zhengsheng, secretary of Hubei Provincial Committee of the CPC expressed his warm welcome to German small-and medium-sized enterprises (SME) to invest in Hubei.

 

Large companies in Germany have been very familiar with China and Hubei while the contacts with German SMEs were limited, Yu said. ¡°SMEs in Germany also boast world advanced products. We sincerely invite them to Hubei for investigation and tour as industrial tour and ecological tour. In this way we can get familiar with each other and seek co-operation opportunities through our further contacts,¡± he added.

 

During the one and half hour television interview, Yu answered questions on Hubei¡¯s economic development policies, the province¡¯s efforts to carry out people-oriented approach, build a harmonious society and deepen opening-up. He also discussed the Hubei¡¯s role in central China¡¯s emergence strategy.

 

Yu Zhengsheng also talked about his impressions on Germany during his visit in 2004 and highly appraised the documentary film Hans in Wuhan broadcasted by TV M¨¹nster.

 

TV M¨¹nster last year established first Chinese Program Division among German television stations and broad a series of Chinese programs in German languages. Hans in Wuhan aroused nationwide repercussions among German TV audience.

 

Zhou Jun, person in charge of Chinese Program Division told reporters that the division aims to promote exchanges and co-operation between China and Germany and introduce China¡¯s economic, cultural and social development in German.

 

Chinese Ambassador to Germany Ma Canrong spoke highly of Chinese Program Division. ¡°The program plays the significant role to introduce China. It is the window for German people to understand China in the trend that the relationship between China and Germany becomes closer,¡± he said.
